Site searching? Clockwork is probably not what you had in mind. We have no vampires, but we do have intelligent zombies who were reanimated through dicey science. We have no werewolves, but we do have dog-mutants (born of a failed genetic experiment). Our wizards work with molecules and tweezers, not wands. Our angels are not very angelic - in fact, in a lot of cases, they're so malformed they can't even fly... and our demons look more like Gollum than the devil. No, we probably don't have what you were looking for. What we do have is a warm and welcoming community of creative thinkers who are bored with "the usual". Can't you tell?
Clockwork is a steampunk-fantasy roleplay which takes place atop a floating island. The world below has been ravaged by an eternal acid rain: the product of an over-zealous industrial revolution. With nowhere else to go, the citizens of New Tottenham saddled up their island and took to the sky. Under a chaotic mismatch of genres that includes fantasy, steampunk, dystopian society, and post-apocalyptic, Clockwork is truly a roleplay like no other. We welcome mature, creative thinkers of all levels of experience and from all walks of life.

The most recently appointed Governess of New Tottenham and one of the few with their head screwed on right. Following the Governing term of her father - recently deceased - she has found herself in the middle of a large mess that he left in his wake. It wasn't until the past few years that she realized how 'little' he did for the people and having lived quite the pampered life, she struggles to fathom such a situation. In a sense, she has a good heart though she her stubborn disposition can be off putting. Damian is a bright eyed, and strong willed individual who has an unwavering tendency to see the best in others. Don't let her naivety fool you, she's an incredibly smart individual who cares little for those who have sinister motives. She's a complicated individual with secrets of her own while being surrounded by secrets that she is only beginning to discover about her father and who she really is. Please check her profile to read about her.
And just a note, I like to think that there are two sides of the story so someone can easily be in more than one category. Damian might also think they belong somewhere else... so put your character where you feel and Damian's opinion will be briefly expressed.
Those who have been kind or have shown in some way, kindness to Damian. Loyalty and thoughtfulness go a long way.
Well they don't have to hate each other to be enemies, nor do they have to want to kill each other. Perhaps they just don't see eye to eye or have a tendency to accomplish nothing but arguing.
Intercourse isn't a requirement but is often a bonus.
Maybe they haven't spent enough time with each other to really form a relationship. Or maybe they are just holding each other at arm's length. Acquaintances of the general and uneventful sort.
Ooh, a Govorness! would it be beyond reason for her to make friends with a middle-class mute girl? Possibly running into her in the pub while doing some research on the middle-class? They seem like they would get along fine enough...
I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. -Billy Joel
